It is about time that someone else apart from Pure Rawk recognises bands that would never feature in the Corporate Awards Circus, where the only interest is in how much money can be garnered. Every once in a while you’ll read that there doesn’t appear to be the next generation of bands that will go on to headline major Festivals and Arenas once the likes of Iron Maiden, Metallica etc hang up their jackets. I beg to differ. Last Sunday I popped up to the New Cross Inn to check out the shenanigans that was “Trash Landing”. Out of the four bands I saw, any one of them could be contenders.
