Acweorna, I was recently asked if I had a playlist for a particular show with me regretfully messaging back saying that I don’t as I only list the bands and not the songs. Shock! Horror! I have a feeling that no factual errors were made on this episode. Feel free to prove me wrong. It’s a Christmas feel that kicks things off this week before I go to the late 70’s for some Powerpop before playing some new up-to-date material. A Charity single gets aired, a couple of covers are played but aren’t part of “Covers Corner”. Tom from the Phobics phones in for this month’s gripping and informative “Tom’s Phobic Foibles” posing a competition, all to the soundtrack courtesy of;
Rich Ragany and The Digressions,
The White Cats,
The Softies,
Starjets,
Radio Days,
Michael Monroe,

On this week’s show I apologise for “Bartongate”, still maintain misheard lyrics are correct, discover missing musical files, admit to snubbing a band first time around, believe a song finished another radio show when it didn’t but it should, wonder if you’ve tested positive for Covid 19 would you still need to self Isolate for two weeks if you were going to Dignitas, all to the music of;
Jello Biafra,
Sex Pistols,
Silent Like A Bomb,
Dead Hombres,
Grand Theft Audio,
The Sino Hearts,

Where to I start with this week’s cock ups? Well to be fair there was only one, quite a big one as the wrong Ident was aired for “Compare and Contrast”. I didn’t realise until later on and then proceeded to blame Producer Barton Stacey, who I made cry. Fortunately, due to Convid restrictions (He was shut in the Conservatory so he didn’t have to come into the studio) you can’t hear his wailing, but I certainly could see him gesticulating. I also go old school by taping something off the radio; I bore you with my attempt at being a musician, unearthing 20 year old demos. All set to the wonderful music provided by;
Billy Karloff,
The Ruts,
The Eddies,
CJ Wildheart,
Dead Furies,
Shark Island,
Silent Like A Bomb,
Charlie Benante,
Alice Cooper,
Die Toten Hosen,

On this week’s show I remember how great two songs from two different bands sound played together live, fawn over a couple of albums that have Damned connections, finally get to play a track from a delayed album, big up a new Vinyl only Record Label, almost claim misrepresentation until I read the small(ish) print, mention an on-line auction with the money raised going to Save Our Venues, award “Band Name of the Week/Month” and coo over a Powerpop recommendation all to the music of;
The Michael Monroe Band,
The Sensible Gray Cells,
Professor and the Madman,
Thee Acid Tongue,
Midnight Evils,
Lemmy,
Warrior Soul,

It’s time for some more Mouth engagement before Brain activity in another scintillating episode of The Paranoid Squirrel Rock Show. Over the course of the hour amongst some curtailed ramblings, I will forget headlining bands, musically almost mix two bands up and announce a new Segmentation, wonder which Motörhead song to play from the Deluxe Edition of “Ace of Spades” and remember Brian James played with J J Burnell all to the music of;
The Nerves,
Dead Furies,
Wig Wam,
Black Spiders,
The OBGMs,
The Spits,
The Dahmers,
Anti Fashion,
Bitch Queens,

Another week, another episode where I let my mouth runaway with itself as I broach the subject of Christmas as my Nephew hasn’t got back to me over what to get his Stepson, Denmark Street, bands having the exact same name, interconnected cover versions, The BBC props department using a Cold and Flu remedy in Blake’s 7, the US Elections, Rock Against Racism, making my High School Music Teacher cry and quit her job all to the soundtrack of;

On this week’s episode I apologise for miss timing things last week as for those of you who tuned in live didn’t hear much of the last song as I ran out of time and shamefully, I did the same this week. I discover I have a MixCloud Account that I hadn’t uploaded shows to for 7 years. Panic, as I seemly always do, over a limited 7” featuring Johnny Thunders and Steve Jones. Lay into the Suits who run Streaming Platforms, drunkenly volunteer to review an album and give my two penneth worth over the original Damned getting back together. All to the soundtrack of;
The Beatles,
The Adverts,
Redd Kross,
The Automatics,
The Middlenight Men,
Stiff Richards,
Muck & the Mires,

On this week’s Show I wonder why Rat Scabies never played in the studio with Johnny Thunders, then marvel at Steve Jones, Paul Cook and Phil Lynott who actually did, almost come to tears on discovering that you don’t need to purchase CDs or mp3s anymore, get on board with a KickStarter Project, ‘fess up that an interview I conducted didn’t record and book tickets for a gig next month to the joyous sounds of;
Hawkwind,
Larry Wallis,
Johnny Thunders,
The Dirty Strangers,
Sonny Vincent,
The DeRellas,
Gilby Clarke,
The Boys,
Johnny Casino,
Cheap Trick,
Lemmy, ft Rat Scabies,
