“You’ve been unwell” I said to myself “Pre-record Episode 667 as you’re bound to make a flu induced error, which you’ll be able to correct it and tuck yourself into bed earlier.” Well I certainly did tuck myself up as is my wont, if not way, I made a catalogue of errors. Well, all right just the one; The Hip Priests will be playing the Lounge in Camden on the 22nd March and Manchester the following day and not the 24th and 25th like I claimed. Apart from that, over the course of the show, I share three of my Co-Codamol dreams interwoven with tracks from;
Hydromatics,
Duncan Reid and the Big Heads,
The Phobics,
Knox,
The DeRellas,
Alvin Gibbs,
Andy McCoy,
Johnny Thunders,
The Damned,
The Hip Priests,
Märvel
and Speed City Vipers.

So all right I missed pronounced Super$hit666, I mean how hard can it be…..I put it down to my excitement at re-claiming my Mojo after last week’s “not into it” show. Plus, it was Episode 666 so maybe Mister B. L. Zebub had a cloven hoof in it. Anyway, bands that enticed and enthused over the hour were;
Iron Maiden,
SuperShit666,
Venom,
The Beatles,
Demolition 23,
The Hip Priests,
Broken Bones,
Shark Island,
Vice Squad,
CrashDïet,
Millencolin,
Electric Mary,
Sylvain Sylvain & the Criminals
and the Rolling Stones.

As predicted by me on unsocial media yesterday, even though I had a shed load of new and exciting stuff to play, I didn’t get it together in time for last night’s Paranoid Squirrel Rock Show on Rock Radio UK. Too much, sleeping, eating and drinking preceded it and not necessarily in that order. So you will hear a whole hours worth of live Ramones instead. Normal (sic) service will resume next week......

Well true to form I messed up. Only by a couple of words. Instead of saying “never disappoints” I said, “never fails to disappoint”. A bit of a game changer I know. To who I was referring to….Download, stream and have a listen. Apart from that, I think I got away with it. Well, it has been a few weeks since I’ve done a live show. Obviously out of practice. Bands I played were;
The Backyard Babies,
Motörhead,
The Spangles,
The Dirty Strangers,
Bernie Tormé,
Anzi Destruction & Timo Kaltio,
Adam Bomb,
Märvel,
“Demons”
and East Town Pirates

The Spangles,
Warrior Soul,
TenPlusOne,

And there’s me saying on this week’s show that I couldn’t remember when Captain Sensible last stripped off. What does he do for Johnny Moped’s 65th Birthday? Yep! Apart from that yesterday’s pre-recorded show, pretty much, adhered to the truth, with songs played by;
The Anti-Nowhere League,
Ginger Wildheart,
The Idol Dead,
Hoodoo Gurus,
The Marked Men,
US Bombs,
The Routes,
Johnny Moped,
The Damned,
The Shadows,
UK Subs,
The DeRellas,
Asomvel
and Iron Maiden.

Obviously, as yesterday’s show was pre-recorded, everything went according to plan. Whose plan is another story. Anyway, whilst I was making my way back from seeing The Damned and Johnny Moped, Rock Radio UK was airing The Paranoid Squirrel Rock Show which you can now Stream and Download from Podbean. Over the course of the hour you most definitely will hear;
Ginger Wildheart,
Electric Boys,
Last Great Dreamers,
Tyla’s Dogs D’amour,
Donnie Vie,
Fabi Ann,
Helikoptern,
The Boys,
Sator,
Tank (ft. Algy Ward),

Indonesian Junk
and Space Force.

Apart from getting gig days mixed up (Rockaway Beach #31 is tonight and wasn’t yesterday) and forgetting that I was going to play some live Johnny Thunders, last night’s Rock Radio UK show went off without incident. Kicking out the jams were;

Motörhead,
John Lennon,
The Damned,
Michael Monroe,
MC5
Johnny Thunders and the Heartbreakers,
UK Subs,
Urrke T,
The Spangles,
